How to FALL ASLEEP FAST
with Diaphragmatic Breathing
Get Comfortable: Lie down in bed and place one hand on your belly. As you breathe, focus on making your stomach gently rise when you inhale and fall as you exhale. This ensures you're using your diaphragm, not just your chest, to breathe.
Control Your Breath: Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of two. Then exhale gently through your mouth for a count of four. Over time, try to lengthen your exhale to six or even eight counts as it becomes more natural.
Trigger Relaxation: This slow, intentional breathing helps activate your vagus nerve, which signals your body to relax. The result? A calmer nervous system and a faster path to deep sleep.
